A separate source reviewer found that paused rotation also stopped time classification; root separated clock updates from rotation. Root verified selected-leader schedules, calendar handoff, ticker details and focus return, phone layout/sticky behavior and reduced-motion pause. Calendar data was not refreshed or mutated for this interface change.
